As a person, you should want to work continuously for the rest of your life at improving and being the best damn person you can be.
When times get hard, having a few healthy distractions may help you to refocus your efforts and remember the importance of what you are doing. Forming new habits and finding new hobbies you love is all part of the healing process. Don’t hold yourself back, try new things and enjoy your life.
Not to mention, that inpatient rehab is not the ideal place to use drugs and get high. You are clean there.
Once you are home, you are back with access to drugs, more money, and all the other triggers that come into play. That is why the triggers and coping skills you learned while in rehab are so damn important.
